This 44-story residential tower introduces a new standard of cosmopolitan living to Brickell. Being the first new condominium to be developed on Brickell Avenue since Miami's the previous real estate cycle, the project was inspired by the best of classic British elegance and appointed with modern day amenities. The Bond features 328 residences ranging from studios, 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units, to exclusive lofts and penthouses, complete with smart building technology and ultra efficient windows, curated floorplans for comfort and lifestyle, and spacious terraces with glass and aluminum railing accessible from most rooms. All of that with 1,000sf of ground level retail in the heart of one of Miami's most pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods.

Eden Roc Miami Beach stands as a timeless testament to luxury and elegance. Originally designed by Morris Lapidus in 1965, the hotel completed a $200 million transformation in 2009 performed by Nichols Architects. Our team designed the modern Ocean Tower adding 415 bright, spacious guest rooms with big balconies that put guests at the sea's edge with direct ocean views, plus an extra 45,000 sf of state-of-the-art indoor meeting space. The juxtaposition of old-world charm and contemporary sophistication continues to draw travelers from around the globe, making Eden Roc Miami Beach an irresistible destination to this day.

The Fontainebleau, designed by Morris Lapidus in 1954, remains one of the most iconic and influential Hotels of Miami Beach. Nichols Architects have played a significant role in the hotel's 2005 US$1 billion renovation, adding the 37-floor Trésor Tower, and renovating the 18-floor Sorrento Tower, which combined add 658 luxury suites to the existing 846 guest rooms. The firm has also contributed to the creation of the Lapis SPA, designed by Richardson Sadeki, providing a luxurious oasis for guests.

The continuous efforts in renovations have preserved the hotel's allure and given it a contemporary appeal. Currently under construction is yet another Nichols designed addition to the property: a five-story Conference Center adjacent to Fontainebleau Miami Beach Resort to be completed in 2025.

With 400 guestrooms and 9 meeting rooms, the Nichols designed hotel provides ample accommodations and facilities that ensure any event is a success, effortlessly blending convenience and luxury for all attendees.

Across this 300-acre site in Aventura, FL, you’ll find Mediterranean-inspired architecture, marble walkways, and sparkling fountains. First opened in 1967, the Resort underwent several renovations and expansions over the years performed by Nichols Architects.

The most recent upgrade, in 2017, included a JW Marriott rebranding and a new 16-story building designated for meeting space designed by Nichols Architects. Known as the ‘Orchid Tower’, it almost doubles the guest room count of the resort, adding 325 new hotel guest rooms and suites, 96,073 sf banquet hall space and 32,471 sf office space.

In 2022, the property was recognized among the top U.S resorts with Conde Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Award, Golfweek’s Top 200 Golf Resort Courses in the U.S, and Meeting Today’s Best South Hotel.

Originally built in 1948 by Albert Anis, the Sea Crest Apartments, an example of Post World War II Transitional Art Deco style, have been thoughtfully preserved and expanded by Nichols Architects. Completed in 2014, the historic complex now features 28 ultra-luxury condo residences across 7 stories. These include one- to five-bedroom floor plans, with 10 loft-style units facing Ocean Drive and 18 beachfront units.

The Omni Providence Hotel, formerly known as The Westin Providence, stands as a remarkable Neo-Traditionalist skyscraper in downtown Providence, Rhode Island. Designed by Nichols Architects in 1994, this elegant 4-star hotel opened with 364 guestrooms, rising to a height of 328 feet, which secured its place as the city's third tallest building until 2007. Adorned with charming brick facades and a pitched roof, the hotel exudes timeless sophistication. Built on top of Miami Central Brightline station, these twin residential towers house 816 luxury rental units. Ranging from studios to three bedrooms, all units come with floor-to-ceiling windows, stainless steel appliances, and five-fixture baths to list a few of the features. The buildings also feature an enticing list of amenities, including a 2-acre SkyPark, 75′ lap pool with three lanes, quarter-mile outdoor running track, resort-style infinity pool, sprawling yoga/activity lawn, luxurious hot tub, poolside cabanas and daybeds, Bark Park & pet grooming salon, an outdoor gym, a business center with co-working lounges and private meeting rooms, a 3,500-square-foot state-of-the-art athletic center, barbecue grills & outdoor dining cabanas, and bike storage.
The project was designed in partnership with SOM architects, who created the Brighline stations iconic look throughout south Florida, while Nichols Architects team took on the challenge of building the 44- and 47-story towers on the top of the station.

Originally designed by Nichols in 2004, it features 44 treatment rooms, elaborate mosaics, grand arches, a lush courtyard with tranquil gardens, waterfall whirlpools, a private spa pool, and a sense of quiet magnificence.

This Convention Center Hotel and Marina stands as the ultimate event destination in Tampa, and a testament to Nichols Architects expertise in event hospitality. The hotel offers 714 guestrooms and suites conveniently located just steps away from the Tampa Convention Center and the vibrant Waterstreet urban community, developed by Strategic Property Partners. Its event facilities span 42,600 square feet, encompassing 19 event rooms, 14 breakout rooms, and a grand 17,169-square-foot Ballroom, accommodating up to 2,500 people. Connected to the new JW Marriott Tampa Water Street through a glass skybridge on the third floor, the hotel's adjacent property, also designed by Nichols Architects, offers an additional 100,000 square feet of innovative meeting and function space, adding up to over 150,000 square feet of combined event space and a total of 1,256 guest rooms and suites.

Tampa Marriott Water Street includes exciting restaurants, rooftop lounges, and an alluring rooftop pool that adds to the overall guest experience. Moreover, the hotel proudly features its own marina, further enhancing its appeal as a waterfront destination.

Originally designed by Morris Lapidus in 1955, Nichols Architects worked with Lionstone in on a $200 million re-development of the historic DiLido hotel. This included not only the renovation of the property, updating the guestroom layouts for the needs of the XXI century, but also the addition of three new floors, two-level parking garage, two lanai room wings, an SPA, and 20,000 square feet of commercial retail space. The hotel reopened on Dec 31st, 2003, rebranded as The Ritz-Carlton South Beach.

We are proud to have led this major expansion, preserving the legacy of this iconic landmark while enhancing its grandeur for future generations to enjoy.

Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach offers top level resort and residences steps away of one of America’s favorite beaches. Upon completion, the development was the biggest ever at Clearwater Beach, with two 15-story towers, 343 guestroom hotel and 105 fractional ownership units. Apart from sophisticated accommodations in an extraordinary oceanfront setting, the distinctive resort also hosts upscale amenities including 22,000 sf total event space, a full-service spa, outdoor pool and hot tub, 24/7 fitness center, and multiple dining options. On ground level, the lobby was designed as an open-air breezeway between the towers overlooking the Gulf, and all the 343 beautifully designed rooms feature a spectacular view of the water or nearby marina.

The 187 light-filled guest rooms and suites of Zota Beach Resort were designed with the Gulf Coast’s laidback elegance in mind. With spacious balconies and pristine views of the Gulf of Mexico, this Sarasota jewel features luxury accommodations, chic dining experiences, and beachside tranquility. With over 2,700 square feet of Gulf-front event space, Zota is also a go-to setting for intimate meetings, family gatherings, and idyllic coastal weddings.

This hospitality project holds historical significance for Nichols Architects, as we were initially engaged in the 1970s to design and construct the original hotel tower. Then, four decades later, we were honored to return and undertake the revitalization project, involving a meticulous renovation of the existing building and an expansion with the addition of a new tower. This revival project achieves a beautiful and seamless incorporation between the old and the new using thoughtful and careful design practices.
