Miami’s Planning Department has issued a final decision approving waivers needed for the first phase of the Nexus Riverside project to begin. The February 5 approval paves the way for developer Adler Group to apply for a construction permit. NBWW is the architect. A large crane was spotted over the weekend at the Miami Worldcenter site where a multi-level “jewelry box” retail building is under construction, designed by NBWW. Developers of the project also filed a Notice of Commencement this month with the county that work was officially underway.
