The newly renovated restaurant at NBWW designed Auberge Beach Residences and Spa is under the leadership of Michelin-starred chef Laurent Tourondel
An oceanfront restaurant in Fort Lauderdale has reopened under the leadership of Michelin-starred chef Laurent Tourondel. Dune by Laurent Tourondel held its grand opening Nov. 30.
Tourondel-led WeChef Hospitality, based in New York, acquired Dune from Miami-based developer Related Group in June. The restaurant originally opened in 2018. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Since the acquisition, the restaurant underwent extensive renovations.
With a new interior and exterior, the restaurant at the NBWW designed Auberge Beach Residences and Spa at 2200 N. Ocean Blvd. encompasses a total 16,000 square feet, including 11,000 square feet of indoor dining and a 5,000-square-foot outdoor area. It has a booking capacity of between 10 to 500 people for various events.
