Nichols Architects is proud to announce the construction of Alanik, a new luxury hotel located on the stunning oceanfront of Clearwater Beach, FL. Known for its pristine white sand beaches, crystal clear waters, and vibrant atmosphere, Clearwater is an ideal location for a new hotel. Alanik is at a privileged site, located right next to the Opal Sands Hotel, another Nichols Architects project inaugurated in 2016. This new 16-story hotel will feature 248 guest rooms, including 9,100 sq.ft. of ballroom space, and 4,500 sq.ft. of meeting rooms. The hotel will also have 528 parking spaces available for guests.

Inspiration for the design of Alanik comes from the natural curve of the coastal line in front of the site, which was seamlessly integrated with the curvature of the Opal Sands building. The two structures will be connected through a pedestrian bridge, creating a cohesive and visually stunning experience for guests. The guest experience is at the forefront of the design, with the lobby area designed to amplify the building’s entrance and the guest rooms optimized to maximize ocean views by directing all balconies towards the water.
