This 7-story Class A office building totals 160,000 square feet and is LEED Gold Certified. Developed by Rilea Group and built by Coastal Construction, with a Nichols Architects original design, it stands at a pivotal intersection connecting Coral Gables, Little Havana, and the Miami International Airport. The geometry of the site informed the building’s sharp lines and horizontal expression, offering both visibility and accessibility from multiple directions.
The exterior is wrapped in glass and metal panels, punctuated by two dramatic feature walls clad in rare Blue Sodalite granite from South Africa. A silver, wave-like ceiling flows above the drive-thru, creating the illusion of water in motion. Inside, public areas are finished with sustainable recycled glass terrazzo, while the offices offer generous natural light through full-height glass partitions. The building integrates intelligent lighting and solar tracking shade systems—designed not just for comfort, but for long-term energy performance.

“Following the success of 1450 Brickell, we were honored to collaborate once again with Rilea on the International Finance Bank headquarters. Set on a prime corner intersection, between Little Havana and Coral Gables, the building responds to its context with a strong horizontal presence and crisp geometry—distinct yet complementary, with a refined mix of glass, metallic panels, and stone.”
