The Tampa EDITION has once again made headlines — this time ranking No. 4 among the Top 10 Hotels in Florida in Condé Nast Traveler’s 2025 Readers’ Choice Awards. With an impressive score of 98.65, the recognition cements the hotel’s place among the state’s most celebrated destinations and marks a milestone for Tampa’s growing luxury scene.

Opened in 2022 as part of the Water Street Tampa development, the EDITION introduced a new level of sophistication to the city’s hospitality market. Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects with Nichols Architects serving as Architect of Record, the project balances minimalist modernity with the tropical warmth that defines Florida’s west coast.

For Nichols, the collaboration represented not just another landmark project, but a continued relationship with the EDITION brand. The firm previously partnered with Ian Schrager himself on the EDITION Miami Beach, which helped set the tone for the brand’s signature aesthetic of understated luxury.

Today, the Tampa EDITION stands as a symbol of the city’s evolution — a destination that bridges business, culture, and leisure, and a testament to design’s role in shaping identity.
