Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach Rises Along the Shoreline
Vertical construction is now underway at Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach, located at 1350 South Ocean Boulevard. Designed by Nichols Architects in collaboration with KORA, the 28-story, 308-foot-tall tower will feature 92 branded residences and a suite of resort-style amenities directly on the beachfront. The project is being developed by Related Group alongside Merrimac Ventures, with Coastal Construction serving as general contractor.
Recent progress photos published on Florida Yimby shows the podium taking shape and the superstructure rising, with crews actively placing concrete, assembling formwork, and installing post-tensioning systems. Tower cranes and concrete pumps anchor the site, supporting the ongoing vertical climb as the building steadily ascends toward its full height.
The Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach brings the brand’s timeless luxury to a contemporary coastal setting. Its sleek glass façade captures panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway, while sculptural terraces and layered balcony edges evoke the motion of waves. Landscaped podium terraces seamlessly integrate indoor and outdoor spaces, connecting residents to the beachfront environment. Interiors by BAMO feature refined layouts and finishes, designed for both seasonal and year-round living.
This project marks a significant milestone for Nichols Architects in luxury coastal residential design, showcasing expertise in translating iconic hospitality brands into the condominium market while shaping Pompano Beach’s skyline.
