Fontainebleau Miami Beach Unveils Plans for New Water Attraction
Already one of the most iconic hotels in Miami, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach continues to reinvent itself. Following the successful debut of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Coastal Convention Center—a project where Nichols Architects served as the lead architects—the legendary resort has announced its next major enhancement: a complete reimagining of its pool deck.
According to Forbes, the amenities deck will be refreshed with “new pools, slides, water features, entertainment, and expanded food and drink options, marking the city’s first large-scale, family-friendly water attraction.”
Fontainebleau Development is no stranger to creating exceptional water-based amenities. The group also manages the JW Marriott Turnberry Resort & Spa in Aventura, home to South Florida’s largest hotel water park, Tidal Cove—another destination where Nichols Architects contributed to through major resort expansions. Though not involved in the Fontainebleau pool deck renovation at this time, our hospitality expertise has been key to expanding and revitalizing a number of South Florida properties over the years with new tower additions on the Eden Roc, EDITION Miami Beach, the Ritz Carlton and more.
With the new water attraction, the Fontainebleau is once again proving why it remains a world-class destination.
