Luxury Towers and a Thriving Community: Pompano Beach’s Transformation
Pompano Beach is no longer Florida’s best-kept secret. A recent Sun Sentinel article highlights the city’s transformation, chronicling both current and future luxury towers—from Casamar and Solemar to upcoming projects like W Pompano Beach Hotel & Residences and Waldorf Astoria Residences Pompano Beach. For Nichols Architects, this boom is especially exciting because we’ve had the privilege of partnering with Related Group, one of the city’s most prominent developers, on several of these landmark projects.
Our work with Related in Pompano Beach spans both residential and hospitality towers, including Waldorf Astoria Residences and our ongoing collaboration for the next W Hotel & Residences tower. These projects, with thoughtfully integrated amenities, beachfront access, and sophisticated design, reflect decades of experience in creating spaces that elevate both residents’ lifestyles and the city’s identity.
The Sun Sentinel story also featured an interview with Mayor Rex Hardin, who emphasized that this growth didn’t happen overnight. Years of strategic city investment, careful permitting, and collaborative vision from developers, designers, and city leaders set the stage for Pompano Beach’s current momentum. It’s a reminder that vibrant communities are built over time—with foresight, partnerships, and design excellence at the center.
As Nichols Architects looks ahead, our pipeline in Pompano Beach and across South Florida continues to grow. We’re proud to contribute to a city that’s thriving not just in towers, but in character and opportunity—where luxury, community, and thoughtful design come together to shape the next chapter of the region’s skyline.
