Miami Beach Culinary Culture Comes Alive at the Loews and Fontainebleau Hotels

Tue Sep 30 2025

Miami Beach’s vibrant culinary scene will be on full display from October 22–25 with the 13th annual South Beach Seafood Festival. This year, the festival includes two new “An Evening in Miami Beach” dinners, a chefs’ showdown, and a new competition for home chefs, celebrating both local flavors and international culinary talent.

Festival highlights include the Chef Showdown on October 24 at Lummus Park, where diners can sample creations from twenty South Florida chefs and vote for their favorite dishes, as well as the Seafood Slam on October 25 featuring nationally recognized culinary talents. Dinners will be hosted at iconic Miami Beach venues such as Rao’s at Loews and Prime 54 at Fontainebleau, combining culinary excellence with memorable settings.

These events continue to cement Miami Beach as a destination where hospitality, design, and culture intersect, attracting both locals and visitors alike.

Nichols Architects’ legacy projects, including the Fontainebleau and Loews Miami Beach, remain integral to the city’s hospitality scene, providing spaces that host world-class events and celebrations. For tickets and full event information, visit sobeseafoodfest.com.
