The Best City in the U.S. Is Getting Its First Four Seasons Hotel – Travel+Leisure
The Four Seasons will make its South Carolina debut in 2028. The legendary hospitality brand will bring 139 luxury guest rooms and 36 branded homes to Charleston’s picturesque historic district.
Beyond elegant accommodations, the eight-story Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Charleston will add four new restaurants and bars to the city’s much-lauded culinary scene, plus an outdoor pool with private cabanas and 7,000 square feet of event spaces. Hotel guests and residents will also have access to a full-service spa with treatment rooms and hydro-thermal facilities (such as a sauna or steam room) and a fitness center.
Bringing the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Charleston to life is New York City-based Morris Adjmi Architects in partnership with executive architects from Nichols Architects. The project will include deep-set windows, shaded arcades, and other complementary elements that mesh both the contemporary and classic timelessness inherent to the historic city. Lark Design Studios is behind the hotel interiors, with landscape architecture by Hollander Design.
